Rotting sub-structure.
When full deck replacement isn't a good option, we can help you make the necessary deck repairs to make your outdoor living space safe again. The picture shown on the right is the before picture of a deck repair we encounter in 2019 here in Vancouver, WA. The main support beam, a 4x10, was rotting away, and nearly collapsed. In this case, the beam shown in the image was not pressure treated, and deteriorated much faster than the surrounding components. We were able to replace the posts and beam to make the deck safe and functional again.

Sinking deck support posts.
In this picture, the vertical deck post you see on the right side of the image is sinking into the ground, and taking the entire deck structure with it. This was caused by an inadequately sized concrete footing, or no footing at all. This was corrected by digging a properly sized hole/footing for new concrete, jacking up the deck, and installing new post/beams as necessary. We'll make deck repairs that last.
